I conduct policy relevant research on international taxation, global tax governance, taxation in lower income countries, and advise on tax policy for governments, international organizations and technical assistance organizations.
My work is interdisciplinary. It is informed by and contributes to both legal and political science scholarship on taxation.
In March 2024, I obtained a PhD degree from Leiden University, as part of the GLOBTAXGOV Project.
I have successfully completed projects for the International Centre for Tax and Development (ICTD), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and Oxfam Novib. I am also a guest teacher at Leiden University's Institute for Tax Law and Economics.
I am open to work with research institutes, universities, international organizations, governments, and non-profit organizations on projects requiring expertise in international tax, development, and global negotiations.
